Encounter Excellence

Over the years we have learned that the amount of preparation hastens our clients ability to fully disconnect. Well ahead of your trip we secure and prepare your campsite far from the reaches of modern technology and the daily grind. Any vestiges of civilization are removed and the entire site is meticulously cleaned. We then finish establishing the campsite with the finest camping gear imaginable. Our attention to detail and passion for serving absolutely shine and, when paired with the majesty of the mountains, combine to create the ultimate gateway to decompression.

Facilitation & Intentionality

We will partner with you during the build up to the trip to understand exactly what you desire to receive from your time with us in the mountains. While the disconnect from routine and challenge of the hike naturally produce stimulating and thought provoking conversation, every client has different intentions. Depending on your desire we can shift from purely service-oriented to end-to-end facilitation of leadership exercises and core value discussions.

Our YouTube channel has a Preparation playlist. Go check it out for some quick tips on how to prepare.

All guides will have cameras on hand during the trip. We will compile a Google Drive shared photo album and upload all content. A videographer may be hired as part of your adventure for an additional fee.
We will be in an area that is mostly frequented by deer, rabbits and mice. Large animals are rarely seen in this area of Colorado. Regardless, we take precautions to ensure encounters do not happen in camp.
You will have two covered latrines that are separate and private from the campsite. They come stocked with toilet paper, hand-sanitizer, and baby wipes. While not what we all experience on a normal basis in our homes, we take great care to make this part of the experience as pleasant as can be at 11,000’ above sea level.
We go to great lengths to make sure you are able to rest in camp. Tent locations are selected for how level they are and are positioned accordingly. The ground is raked and swept clean of debris prior to placing the tents. We have the finest six and eight-person tents on the market and 3” air mattresses for every guest. We put two guests in the six person tents and three guests in the eight-person tents. It’s quite comfortable and warm and centrally located to the camp.
We deploy Iridium based devices during your time in camp. We also gather emergency contact information prior to the trip and load that information on our devices. This means your family will have a private website to track your location and a satellite number to use to contact you in case of emergency. Our satellite devices are two-way should you need to get a message out to loved ones.
